Mana Moments

This resource, created by Evelyn Mann, for Years 4-8 focusses on understanding mana and exploring the history of Aotearoa.

The program aims to engage young people in reflective discussions about mana, explore the history of Aotearoa/New Zealand, and support them in working abstractly. ​ Participants will research significant Māori figures, create living installations depicting these figures, and reflect on the thoughts and moments that contributed to their mana. ​ The program also seeks to strengthen positive thinking and support the building of mana in others.
